Team adoption

See who has made AI part of their week

The adoption heatmap shows every developer week by week, so a seat that is paid for but never used stands out as clearly as your heaviest users.

  • One row per developer, one square per week
  • Spot who started late, who stopped and who never began
  • Filter by developer, client and date range

  • High

Priya and Alex use AI heavily every week. Sam, Raj and Maya started in the first month and are now at medium to high use, Nina and Lena started later, and Omar has no AI activity yet.

When and how deeply your team uses AI

Peak hours show when AI is part of the working day. Session depth shows whether people pair with AI on real tasks or only ask it quick questions.

Peak usage hours

Prompts by hour of day, last 30 days

10:00 to 11:00 · 46 prompts (busiest hour)

Prompts peak between 9:00 and 11:00 and again between 14:00 and 16:00, with a dip over lunch and almost no activity at night.

Prompt patterns

How each developer talks to AI

Every prompt is sorted into one of six categories. Each developer gets a mix, a top category and an average prompt length, so you can see who writes detailed feature requests and who fires off short commands.

AI ROI questions, answered

How ROI, hours saved, adoption and prompt patterns are worked out.

CloudByte AI estimates the hours AI saved from every prompt your team sent, values them at an hourly rate, and divides that by what the team spent on AI in the same period. A 42.5× ROI means every dollar of AI spend produced about $42.50 of saved work.

Each prompt is counted as a few minutes of work saved, 6 minutes in the example, and valued at an hourly rate such as $45. The rate and minutes are shown on the card, so everyone can see exactly what the estimate is based on.

A developer counts as adopted when they have AI sessions in the selected period. The adoption card shows the share of developers with seats who are actually using AI, and the heatmap shows when each person started and how heavily they use it.

How many prompts a session takes. Quick lookups of 1 to 3 prompts are useful, but most of the value comes from standard and deep work sessions where developers pair with AI on a real task.

Every prompt is sorted into Error, IDE, Paste, Command, Question or Feature. The prompt pattern table shows each developer's mix, their top category and their average prompt length, which helps you coach people towards prompts that work.
